Criteria

All rhymes must address this criteria and various elements of these will guide the expert’s allocation of scores for awards.

  • Catchy: rhymes must be catchy and easily repeatable.

​​

  • Sustainable: rhymes must address resources in the light of sustainability/regeneration, conservation resource maximisation, conscious use and/or recycling.

​​

  • Educational: must demonstrate research and good understanding of topic as well as alignment to STEAM curriculum.

​

  • Collaborative: must showcase group work and engagement.

​​

  • Technical: must have both an audio and visual element.

​​

  • Legal: all participants must consent use of rhyme for public education, community engagement and program promotion.  All participants must sign consent forms/ talent releases and all submissions must contain acknowledgement of information, assistance and/or third parties.

Eligibility

​

Any school/educational facility within the Councils of Holdfast Bay, Marion and Onkaparinga is eligible to register and participate in 2019, given that the criteria are met.  If the facility requires extensive assistance, please contact Resource Rhymes to discuss how this might be achieved: resourcerhymes@outlook.com.

Multiple school groups may complete the project however each school can only submit one rhyme in 2019.

Ineligibility

Registrations that do not provide relevant complete, written consent by the registration deadline are not eligible.  Projects that appear to have had obvious outside input that is not appropriately acknowledged may be deemed ineligible.  If this is suspected, Resource Rhymes will make contact to discuss.

Projects that are duplications or plagiarised are ineligible.
